Alabama Veterans Memorial Park
In partnership with the Boy Scouts of the Greater Alabama Council, the Alabama Veterans Memorial Park honored veterans through a special Memorial Day Remembrance event.
Schedule of Events
1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
- Blue Star Salute Foundation’s Exhibit – Faces of the Price of Freedom (Located in the parking lot)
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Live Patriotic Music by the Bob Moore Band (Near the Memorial Plaza)
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM – StepStone Dedication Ceremony (American Flag Plaza)
- Boy Scout Color Guard Presentation
- National Anthem performed by Stephanie Whatley-Farmer
- Echo Taps played by Bugles Across America
- StepStone Dedications – Honorees recognized by family and friends
